I kiss and doctor his boo-boo’s……..watch him master new skills.
I’m ignored, I’m snuggled, tickled, and hugged….and I hear lots of I love yous.
I respond to “Teacher Debbie watch this” with joy and clapping….even the 100th time.
At the end of his day I help him wash away the days paint, dirt and grime.
I try to decipher changes in behavior…is he sick? tired? hungry? Or just grumpy?
I remind him to “use your words, use your spoon, use your inside voice, please use the potty!”
I have imaginary conversations on play phones, feast on plastic food and pretend to eat cake made of sand.
Keepsake artwork is made from the prints of his feet and hands.
I wipe tears, noses and bottoms. At naptime I pat heads and backs.
I have no personal space……but that is all I lack.
Our day comes to an end which was filled with colors, shapes, and ABC’s….sharing, caring, and singing.
Tomorrow is a new day, and with it all the fun learning it will be bringing.
Love this ♡♡
Thanks, Kristen!
Thank you, Andy. That is so very kind of you to say. Love you, too.

They’re the luckiest kids in the world to have you. We are the luckiest family to be able to call to mom, mema, sister, daughter, aunt. LOVE you.
